Specialisation
In addition to her law degree has qualified as a town planner and worked for a district council as an Area Planning Officer.
She provides support to the planning lawyers in technical town planning matters along with assisting clients direct in pursuing their development proposals.
She has experience of a range of planning and enforcement matters including: applications for major residential developments, listed building consent, conservation area consent, removal and variation of planning conditions, tree preservation orders, certificates of lawfulness of existing use or development, drafting design and access statements, drafting planning policy statements and statements of case for Written Representation appeals and Informal Hearings and assisting the planning lawyers at Public Inquiries. She acts for both private developers and local authorities.
Career
Graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Law in 2003. Completed an MSc in Spatial Planning at Oxford Brookes University in 2006.
Prior to joining Marrons, gained varied experience of Town and Country Planning matters whilst working as an Area Planning Officer and Monitoring Officer in local government.
Qualified as a Chartered Town Planner in 2008.
Joined Marrons in 2007.
