Specialisation
Rachel has 5 years experience in Local Government dealing with a wide range of contentious and non-contentious public and planning law matters. She has particular experience in negotiating and drafting section 106 agreements and unilateral undertakings, preparing for planning inquiries and advising the Council's internal planning applications committee. She has also undertaken extensive advocacy in a range of areas including a planning inquiry and planning prosecutions.

Career
Graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2001 with a degree in Law with Information Technology. Completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, York in 2002.
Trained as a solicitor with East Staffordshire Borough Council and qualified in 2005.
Joined Marrons in 2008.
