The firm is led by three Senior Principals: Kevin Sumner, John Edmond and Morag Thomson.

Kevin Sumner is a director and sole proprietor of Kevin Sumner Ltd who is a partner in Marrons.
A highly experienced commercial lawyer dealing largely with high-value transactional work involving the acquisition and disposal of commercial and property interests.
His work includes acting for developers and landowners in site assembly, acquisition and disposal and he advises on the negotiation and drafting of property and planning agreements associated with development proposals.
He acts regularly for private clients in their business, commercial and investment dealings and is able to bring his previous experience in corporate acquisitions to bear in development projects.
He also plays an active part in the management and development of the firm and has responsibility for the financial administration of the practice.
Member of the Law Society.
Liverpool University (LLB Hons 1977). Admitted 1980.
Trained as a Solicitor in local government with Nottinghamshire County Council and practised initially with Leicestershire County Council before joining private practice with Marron Dodds in 1983 which became Marrons in 1999.
