Specialisation

Paul has experience acting for both Local Authority and Private Clients on a range of both contentious and non-contentious planning matters.  He is regularly involved in the preparation of planning obligations under s.106 of the Town and Country Planning Act and has also acted as an advocate at Planning Inquiries. 

He regularly advises clients in respect of all aspects of Town Planning, including applications for certificates of lawfulness and the making of and objecting to Compulsory Purchase Orders.  He also advises in respect of Town and Village Greens.

Member of the Law Society.

Legal Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Member of the Law Society's Planning Law Accreditation Scheme.

Career

Graduated from the University of Nottingham in June 2000 with a degree in History.  Sat the Postgraduate Diploma in Law in 2003 at the Guildford branch of the College of Law and the Legal Practice Course in 2004 at the College of Law in London, achieving commendations in both.

Joined Marrons in 2004 where he completed his training.

Qualified in 2006.
